**SHE'S STILL GOT IT!!**
After doing my ACL during a netball game in 2014, I found it very challenging to get back into training again. With no desire to play ever again and no real reason to train, I was unmotivated to hit the gym and live the active, healthy lifestyle I have naturally had my entire life.
My knee gave me pain, my hamstring niggled, running after the dogs at the park was a challenge and training the kids on the netball court at school was torture, as I felt weak and uninspiring.
I had moments of feeling inspired where I got back in the gym and started training again. Pain, unwillingness to take things slowly and frustration at not being able to train like I used to, meant that my bursts of training never lasted long, my pain got worse and a more sedentary lifestyle was decided upon. In September last year life changed quite a lot! Our little boy Conrad was welcomed into the world and all of a sudden I was a Mum. It was clear very early on that our little fella was going to be super active! So I asked myself...Do I want our son to have a mum who used to be athletic, really active and played sport, but now gets up from the floor with creaky knees and weak legs? Or do I want my son to see that I am STILL fit, STILL athletic and that I can shoot the netball accurately from anywhere in the circle and nail it?!! I think you know what my answer was!! I committed to a gradual, realistic start back to training and now just 2 months later I can squat pain free, deadlift 80kg and am working at building up my running. I have a long way to go before I get back on the court, but I feel strong, useful rather than useless and I have confidence in my abilities. I want to show my son, my peers and the kids that I teach, that resilience is key and it is so important to work through your challenges, rather than just giving up!!
I am so motivated because I have a clear goal in my mind...show my son who I am, not who I used to be!! #resilience#rolemodel#success#challenges#confidence#abilities#respect#identity#mumlife#holisticfitness#netball#team#strength#power#agility#speed#nailedit#sparklebaby
Seriously as I reflect at most of the crap I’ve endured in life, I don’t know how I’m still sane lol!🤣I have the tendency of suppressing my emotions until I explode. Now I just go on writing frenzies thanks to meditation lol... #scorpio#were#batshitcrazy
One of the biggest #challenges we face as #entrepreneurs is staying on #top of everything. You have to respond to #emails , make sure your website works perfectly, organize #projects , keep in touch with your #network , and avoid getting distracted by social media, cat videos, and tools that only make you less productive.
The #Internet does not just enable procrastination. It also offers solutions to busy entrepreneurs: there is an abundance of #tools and #services that were created to help you organize your life and business, so you can focus on doing work that matters.
These resources were created by people who know what it’s like to have a to-do list that never seems to end. Many of them can be used for free, so there’s no reason not to give them a try. -Naomi Jinia Gaubert

These four challenge me everyday in complete different ways and it’s pretty tough at the moment in the weekends when I’m on my own, as hubby is at work. I’m so thankful and blessed for the family I have who come over to keep me company, help with the kids and feed us 💜
I love my house. It’s one of a kind. And it challenges me. So much so that I’ve actually hired a decorator to help me with the front room. I feel sorry for her, for I am all over the place when it come to style. I’m eclectic for sure!! The color of this chair makes me ecstatic! Good luck Miranda!!!
Man, the challenges and adversity you go through in business…
Today I’m proud at myself how I was able to handle the challenge that was given to me. I guess 10 years of ups and downs makes you a lot more prepared for failures when they occur.
Looking back I can now laugh at the things that used to bring me down for days and even weeks. After going through the battles, I can say that I can move on so much quicker (almost instantaneously) when things don’t go my way and right away focus on what just needs to get done.
I almost now almost expect and know that challenges are coming and feel like I am due for a setback, so when they come I feel so much more ready now.
This business thing is not for the weak but with experience I can tell you what has really helped me is having gratitude, empathy and expecting nothing from others and you can get through the tough times too. (Anger, hate and blaming others certainly doesn’t help at all is also what I’ve learned)
Stay strong everyone out there! I am certainly doing my best to do so too!
Thanks for everyone who has supported me in this journey. Love you all.

Cheers to closing February like never before, to the new challenge that’s coming up, and to all the cuts we are about to make.
