Strong wine game tonight at a dinner to celebrate @kenneth.s.prince (@copperandcream husband) birthday. We started with the 2010 Giscours, which had a 2.5hr decant and was exactly on-point. The 1989 Cos was opened on a whim, so didn’t get the same time in the decanter, but opened right up. Still good fruit, but showing some bricking at the edges; I’d had a bottle from the same provenance six months ago, and it showed some sulfur - none of that tonight, and a very enjoyable drink. I feel a lot more excited about exploring its remaining brothers/sisters now!
