Results from my first full year of focusing on building muscle using keto. Over 12 lbs of muscle added in 12 months. In the pic from 2016 I weighed 160 lbs. In the pic on the right (from this morning) I weigh 173 lbs and am more lean. I am definitely pleased with the progress!
Not bad for a 42 year old IT g33k with ruptured discs and an injured shoulder! (If I do say so myself) 😁 Looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings... Maybe my first physique competition? We shall see! 👍
It's 12pm, I'm still in pyjamas, I have roots down to my eyeballs, my house is a mess and my back is SO sore. I wasn't sure if this whole image would be very Instagramable, so instead I will throwback to this moment in Santorini. I am SO excited to be back in the sunshine in 2weeks time 💕 #bringonthehoneymoon#ihopebaconwillgivemeabs#ifnotmaybewinewill
I fancied an easy day of food. Haven't been feeling the warm lunches so have put the rest of my curries in the freezer and have replaced the lunches with something easy to eat cool, here's today:
Morning snack: @heckfooduk scotch egg and veggie sticks
Lunch: bacon sandwich thin, mini cheddars, baby tomatoes
Afternoon (pre-cycling home in 25deg) proats!
Next week I'm only working three days so I'll put together a super cheap, easy and balanced meal prep and share costings too.. as a lot of people ask me if my food is expensive (short answer: yes, more so than buying just junk.. long answer: depends what you enjoy spending your money on and if you need energy for the tasks you do !)
Today's exercise is just a 10k each way to and from work on my bike, I've got laundry to do and a birthday 🎂 to make and my bags to pack for Brighton! Yip too yipeee!
