This is a photo of when we bought the house and then early last year ... New windows, new roof, fascia, guttering, chimneys rendered and removed, boot room windows painted (although in the initial plan the boot room was coming down and being rebuilt) and my old car ahhh!
This year I would love to paint this whole section of the house in a different colour top to bottom. I’m thinking something like Farrow and Ball Hardwick White as our window frames are cream. What do you think? I now feel like heading out with my tester pots but I think it’s too dark 😆
What an exhausting Sunday that finished off with tears because I was so tired 😑. BUT lots done in the garden and I don’t even mind that the house resembles a disaster zone after having various workmen here over the weekend. Oh, but no heating still ☃️.
Good progress with the conversion our old kitchen into a lobby and utility this week and hubby who, 6 months ago threw a wobbly if I even asked him to put up a shelf has become DIYer of the year...now there's no stopping him 🤣. Today he has fitted up all the plasterboard ready for the walls to be skimmed (he's not doing this, to which I am very relieved). Swipe to see before and halfway stage photos. The doorway where the fridge once stood leads into the dining room & recent kitchen extension...all part of my masterplan first drawn on the back of an old till receipt a couple of years ago. 😊 xx
S A T U R D A Y - seems to equal laundry day! 😩 Now do I risk the washing line in all this glorious sunshine?? Boys at football and then we are out on a pleached tree hunt! Only 5 years in the planning! 😱 Have a lovely day whatever you’re up to! #saturday#laundry#bootroom#utilityroom#farrowandball#inchara
