Started my day with a good 13.5km run👟 Had the feeling that i was actually a bit slow but my pace said the opposite! I've had a pace of 5'08" per km which made me so happy!🏃 Just a perfect start for me💕
On the pic, you can see my breaky from a while ago which doesn't looks very pretty but it was so good!😍 Oatmeal with @nu3_de chocolate proteinpowder, @frooggies banana powder🍌 and a fresh whole mangoe from the fridge because i love the combination of cold with warm💛 and also some kakaonibs😋

#TBT wow well this appeared in my memories today. 5 years ago and my first experience of the open, not long into my Crossfit journey. I had no idea what I was doing, I couldn’t do a lot of movements, and generally I was “a bit crap.”
Fast forward to now. I still have lots to work on and improve, but I am now living and breathing fitness. As cheesy as it is to say, my life has completely changed for the better because of Crossfit and I can only hope I am helping others to experience something similar to what I did, through my passion and love for the sport. Everything changed the moment I took that first step into @crossfitmts, and I’ll forever love the community and family there.
Due to injury, I won’t be entering the open officially this year, however I will be there to throw down and cheer loudly; because for me, the open is about family. It’s about getting in there, creating some noise and making your fellow athletes feel like their veins are running with the ichor of the Gods so that they can achieve more than they ever could expect. Maybe it’s that first pull-up or muscle up, or maybe it’s linking some double unders - either way, these things deserve celebration.
In summary; whether you decide to give Castro your cash, get in and do the workout if you can, support your friends and soak up the atmosphere. You’ll be glad you did.
*Side note: the less said about my oven bake lifting shoes the better. Moving on.
