Day 34: couldn’t be bothered to get out my camera. So tired! Skin is breaking out still, but it’s not too bad - there’s a lot of hyperpigmentation. Cannot wait for the texture to die down. What’s the bet foundation everyone’s found for Accutane?
Winding down this Monday with a little @banishacnescars pumpkin enzyme mask action 🎃 I’m in my final semester of college rn & have ALL the stressful feelz - which has def been affecting my skin lately. Isss looking a lil ruff tbh. Luckily this handy dandy mask helps keep breakouts at bay and reduces the chance of any potential scarring. Fades hyperpigmentation ✔️ Reduces cystic spots ✔️ Shrinks whiteheads ✔️Booyahhhhh it’s been one of my holy grail skincare items for over a year now 💃🕺❤️. Have you tried it yet?? Use “Kali” at checkout to save some green $$!
One year ago today I relapsed from accutane. If this happened to you please PLEASE know that you’re not alone & it’s not the end of the world. There are so many options, natural or not you just gotta find what works for you and what makes you feel gewd. After having a taste of acne free skin for a year I wasn’t ready to go back to the daily struggles. I felt so heartbroken, discouraged, and betrayed by my own body. I tried prescription topicals again for a while and with no results the next step was accutane round 2. It was so hard on my body and personally I couldn’t put myself through that again. I couldn’t understand why this happened to me but I’m glad it did. It was a wake up call for me to change my lifestyle, begin focusing on my wellbeing: mind, body, and soul. My acne is so deeply tied to my emotions and the way my body hangs onto stress and guilt/anxiety. If this is you as well try meditating, running, doing yoga, or even opening up to someone who can help you deal with what you’re going through. I promise it helps to really connect with yourself and how you’re feeling! Feel those feelings girl. Sometimes it’s not about skincare or diet at all & perhaps that’s why these things often fail us- because we forget to check in on ourselves and our emotional well-being. We may think we’re strong when in fact we are hurting. I began changing my diet and cutting things out, I cut too much out and started being overly restrictive which was bad for me & led to more feelings of guilt and anxiety(talked about this on snap). Let me tell you I’m done with that shiz, I’m all about eating healthy but I’m also about food freedom. I eat healthy most of the time but if I want a doughnut I’m gonna eat a freaking doughnut damnit 🍩 . I refuse to let food control my life because of my skin. I still go through rough patches with my skin, sometimes it’s SO clear and sometimes I breakout like hell but that’s OKAY, I’m still trying to figure everything out and find a balance that works for me. Acne doesn’t make you any less of a person! You flaunt them pimps hunnayyyyyy 😋💕❤️

These are all things I have heard before. Having acne is confusing enough without all the impossible recommendations. Please from all acne sufferers to you, think before you speak. You have no clue what someone has or hasn’t tried and what they are currently going through. Instead of offering advice, offer a compliment. Nice hair, killer dress, I love those shoes- will go a much longer way💕
A textura dela é espessa, quase mousse.
My favorite foundations for Oily Acne prone skin. These beauties all have different finishes and coverage levels @esteelauder #Doublewear medium to full buildable coverage. Oil free. @maybelline #fitmematteandporeless sheer to full coverage. Oil free. @lorealmakeup #truematch light to medium coverage. (builds to full in my opinion)Natural finish.
@bareminerals #blemishremedy powder medium‑to‑full coverage buildable.
@bareminerals #mattefoundation sheer to full coverage. * I am a CREATURE OF HABIT so I don’t venture off with my base to often, which helps me maintain clearer skin.
I have found these foundations give me the coverage that I desire depending on the stage that my skin is in. It is healthy to treat the skin (when you have skin conditions) with the appropriate skincare and cosmetics that compliment your skin💋#acnefoundation#mattefoundation#mua#mualife#instabeauty#atlmua
Mask ✔️ Mat ✔️ Juice ✔️ My ideal way of starting this year out right is obv using my fav activated charcoal mask from @banishacnescars (mixed with bentonite clay & ACV). I love how deep cleaning this mask is, absorbing all the oil and impurities out of my pores & wiping out any blackheads in its path— lord knows I need every ounce of it after last nights festivities! Happy New Year everyone!! Make the most of it, Y a o n l y l i v e o n c e 🥦🥒🍵
