Caught in action 📸
Hubby has decided we are off to the National gallery to see some art.
Which caused me to ask what do you wear at a gallery? 😂
Just changing out of the bright white shoes incase the rain comes back. (Please don’t come back!) But right now it’s beautiful blue skies in London!
Happy Sunday everyone! What are you up to?
I'm a little bit obsessed with both of these newbies from @maybelline! The mascara gives plenty of length and volume. The brow pencil requires little effort to apply and blend. Coming to the blog next week 👌🏻what's your favourite mascara?
Has the ☔️ weather got you mentally booking your next trip to warmer climates?

Welll hello pouty pouty! Sooo today I want to talk about the taboo around LIP FILLERS! Up until 5 years ago I had never really thought about enhancing what I had I mean I just about managed to put lipgloss on! I love talking about relatable stuff and as I spoke so openly about my boobs last month I thought why not carry on with the rest (there isn't much more I've had done... honest)! This is a recent pic of my lips without lip fillers I haven't actually had them for a year now and I'm starting to get the itch to get them done again! Everyone has this perception like boobs that people get them done really big but in fact for me I don't, I prefer them just a teeny bit bigger. The lady that does my lips encourages that anyway so I usually just have half a ml. I mean you can't really notice the difference but I just love the plumped effect without having to put lipliner and lipstick everyday! Does that make me shallow? Does that make one think she's full of herself?! Plastic and cosmetic surgery has become some what the norm nowadays I wouldn't say I did it to follow the crowd it was more for myself! What's your thoughts my loves do you think it's a waste of money or do you think it's nice to spend a bit of cash to make you feel more confident?! ❤️🙌🏾
Another day in the rat race as they call it! So as you guys know I recently left the corporate world and although I gained some valuable experience I must say having worked for all different size companies my favourite would have to be boutiques or medium size companies. I feel in the corporate world you aren't valued as much especially if you're not bringing in the mega bucks! Obviously my ideal situation for the future is to be self employed. I praise the women that can go back to an office environment once they've had kids but I personally couldn't juggle both so that being said I'm looking at all different avenues to ensure I don't have to do this- I'd like to work in a way where I can still be around my babies I think this is definitely becoming more apparent in this day and age! To my followers are any of you working mummies? How do you find it? Or any ladies that have thought about this for the future? Any guys who's wives are in this situation? Sorry for the 20 questions but I'm intrigued 🙊 x
Breakfast in BED has become a bit of a habit for me on the weekends! Complete contrast to me in the week with my 5.30am alarm to get my arse to the gym! I make sure that I have this to look forward too so I have a chance to chill out and reflect on the week I've had and as you all know I love to set my goals and get organised! Been to see my fave @hairbyfelixuk for a cut and colour and feeling as fresh as a daisy 😍 💇🏽 What's your must on a weekend? ❤️
@catrice.cosmetics have some really beautiful but affordable releases coming your way!! The California in a Box Bronze and Blush palette is a stand out. I can't wait to put them all on my face!! I saw their ombré blush palettes in @sammccauleys today and to say you need them is an understatement!!! I think Catrice just gets better. Agree??
Hurrah for Friday! Not that it makes much difference when you're on mat leave. However, my primary thought is not "great to have the husband home so we can have some quality family time" it's "thank goodness there's someone else around to share the load so I can"...
-Go for a wee ALONE
-Have a shower ALONE
-Finish a hot drink while it's still hot
-Eat a meal I've prepared with TWO hands -Find the friends of stray baby socks that have fallen off
-As above with 4 year olds gloves
-Find Elsa and Cinderella's missing shoe
Anyway, outfit! A DRESS! This is the first dress I have worn since being pregnant! Didn't want to buy a wrap or button down dress that just for nursing that I won't wear again. This roomy @newlook pinafore is perfect for breastfeeding and will be worn for many months (and probably years) to come. Happy days! Did you see what was new from @urbandecaycosmetics? I've tried the facial oil and both sprays. Thumbs up for a first impressions!! A full review will be on the blog next week. Taking the palette to Dublin this weekend for road testing 💕
"You're in your thirties and single with no babies"?! Yep thats another remark I get ALOT!
These aren't my babies they are my nephews who I absolutely adore. Trust me, there is nothing more in this world that I want more then to have my own, and I don't feel I should have to justify my choice not to have them just yet. However I will go on to explain as to why, which I think some of you guys can relate but maybe in a different sense.
7 years ago I was in a toxic relationship and went through what is called a "Anembryonic Pregnancy" which means a fertilised egg is implanted in the womb but a baby doesn't grow. You have no idea because you still get the symptoms as if you are pregnant it's only when you have your scan that you're told that this isn't the case. The worse part is having to go through the procedure of having the remains removed which I can't even explain how it made me feel at the time so, I won't go into it... I will save it for a rainy day. My point is - I was in a relationship that wasn't right for me and had that not happened I don't think I would have been happy nor would we have stayed together. So regardless of going through that pain and heartache I feel I dodged a bullet and now know I don't just want my babies with any Tom, Dick or Harry, I want that person to be my partner for life to help and support our family. I get sometimes it doesn't work that way but now I'm more mature and can make the right decisions I think it's only fair I do it the way I want too regardless of whether I'm in my 30s or maybe even 40s- god works in mysterious ways but you have to let the universe work its magic!
What's your thoughts on babies guys I love talking about them so please share 😍💙❤️
Which foundation have you repurchased numerous times? ❣️
For me it has to be the @maccosmeticsuk Studio Fix fluid, even though I don't currently have it in my stash! I'm always on the lookout for a new base and yesterday, @pariejoshi reviewed the @esteelauderuk Double Wear foundation over on my blog. Head to www.nishiv.com to read her review.. 📸 by @pariejoshi
Soooo let's talk about the @yonka_ireland calming mask for a second shall we? My skin was red and irritated this morning. 5 x 12 hour shifts in 6 days will do that to a gal. Also on 2 of those nights I slept in my makeup. Ideal louise!! I did a mini facial today and included this little wonder. My skin felt soothed, calmer and less irritated. You can see an after photo in my Instagram stories ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻#yonkaireland#yonkaparis#sensitiveskin#selfcarematters#plbrands
