For Christmas 1970, I received a toy that I played with constantly, as the Christmas day photo inset shows. It was actually a game but I loved using the main piece like a puppet, mostly due to my blossoming love of the art because of the Kroffts. It was one of the few toys my parents didn’t save since I had obviously played with it to the point of being past repair. For years I was trying to search for it by only remembering the object of the game and the fact that it jingled when it moved. My chum @vinyl_phil learned of my search and within minutes had found a sealed game- Parker Brothers Wobble & Gobble It. Which I bought. And once I learned what it was called, I found- and bought- the UK version as well. Because that is what toy hoarders do. #vintagetoys #vintagegames #parkerbrothers #parkerbrothergames #games #toys #wobbleandgobbleitgame #vintagechristmas

I’m so glad you have those in your collection. I know you’ve been after it for a LONG time. I’m happy I could help and return the favor... you’ve helped me acquire some hard to get stuff as well. Toy pals for life! 😉

It's what any respectable toy hoarder would do.
