One thing the developed world is awesome at, is painstakingly slotting, neatly labelling, attractively packaging and successfully marketing stuff.
Nothing is off limits. Nothing is sacred.
Ancient secrets, sacred knowledge, original words, art, music, earth, water, air.. everything once free, wild, independent, abundant.. everything to feast the spirit upon, to heal the soul with, to devour with senses, to partake in ecstatic gratitude and pass on.. is sacrilegiously up on the market.
The hottest commodity is humans.
Not the raw, naked, uninhibited, unfettered human.. whole, wild, pure as he came from the womb.. as she is meant to walk the Earth.. one with the elements, but a drastically reduced, vigorously watered down, a downright diluted version of the human.
A completely cosmeticized, ridiculously exaggerated, exalted, built up, sweetened with fake frostings, meaningless, empty shell of humans, out of whose bright, lit bodies the essence has been sucked out, the spirit wrenched, and the soul demonized out, till they are just industrialized clones of one another.
Walking around like soulless zombies.
No wonder humans are threatened by robots taking over their work.
Better, faster, crazier versions are always available. Upgrades, anyone?
And then you expect to be one with Consciousness.
Boom! Consciousness doesn't recognize you any more.
Go back to the roots bury yourself there.
Go back to the holy river drown in it.
Go jump into a fire let all that is false burn to ashes.
Go back to Earth's womb pray that it'll not spew you out. Reject you as something foreign.
Go, go, go back. Go within. Go inward. See if there's anything left of the you.
If there is, carefully extract it out. Air it, water it, sun it.
Let it be in the elements. Just let it be.
And then wait.
Wordlessly, tirelessly, timelessly, wait. Just wait.
Wait till one day in the deep stillness, Consciousness senses your quivering, extends a lazy energy wave, and wraps you in it.
You are One with Consciousness now.
